Tastiest Summer Tomato Sandwich Ever

Tomato Wraps

You Will Need:

2 slices sprouted grain bread or several large lettuce leaves

2-3 good summer tomatoes

1 thinly sliced red onion

1 package cream cheese


Black Pepper

Garlic Powder (or garlic and herb blend)

Sprinkle of chives

Grass fed butter or Ghee

2 cups cooked black beans (if doing lettuce wraps)


How to Make It:

  1.  Spread one side of bread with cream cheese. Layer tomatoes and onions on one side. Sprinkle them with black pepper and oregano. Sprinkle the other cream cheesed side of bread with chives. Close sandwich and spread outsides of bread with butter.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder or garlic herb blend like garlic bread. Grill like a grilled cheese sandwich.
  3. If you are doing lettuce wraps instead (I do sandwiches for hubby and kids, wraps for myself) spread cream cheese on lettuce then sprinkle garlic, oregano and black pepper on top of cream cheese. Sautee onion briefly in frying pan or griddle. Layer tomato, onion and black beans onto lettuce leaf, roll and enjoy.
